Uniquely Creative Outback Divine 18th Birthday Card

Hi everyone 😀

My baby turned 18 the other day and this is the card that I made for her.  Where does the time go?!  It doesn't seem all that long ago that I was sending her off to her first day of school and now she is in Year 12.

The card was made from a Card Kit by Uniquely Creative - Outback Divine  and I pretty much followed the design from the sample card photos in the kit.  We were lucky that we weren't in lockdown at the time and were able to have a lovely birthday lunch together at a local cafe which we thoroughly enjoyed.

I specifically chose the magpie image as we have two families of magpies that visit our home - one family visits out the front and sit right the front door and call out until we come with some food.   It is so sweet when they bring their babies down and trust us to let us get very close to them.   The second family visits our back garden and the male magpie and the 2 babies from last year's brood hop on our knee and take food from our hand.  The 2 babies also stand at the kitchen window and tap it to get our attention.  The male also taps on the kitchen window and if we don't come, he stands right outside the sliding door and stamps his feet as he peers in at us to try and get our attention.  We do enjoy our magpie friends very much and they bring us alot of joy especially at the moment in Lockdown with no (human) visitors allowed.

The only thing that I added to the card that wasn't by Uniquely Creative were the pink rhinestones which are by Kaisercraft.

I think this is one of the prettiest collections by Uniquely Creative.  I love to see Australian flora and fauna featured in cardmaking products as it really inspires my creativity and well, it just makes me happy 😃

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Jocelyn

Hi dear Jobear.. your baby is 18! Wow, where does time go indeed.
Magpies are clowns like lots of birds, and I enjoy their antics too. Sorry you've certainly had your fill of lockdown passed week 200 I had. The only good thing re that was they weren't sequential. I'm praying for your state elections on 26/11/2022. Never too early to start and esp praying for wise, compassionate, caring premier.. in God's mercy for you all..
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X
