Another vintage card from the NEW Debbi Moore Vintage Christmas CD

Hi and thanks for stopping by :-)

I made another DT card for Fat Cat's Card Corner using an image from the Debbi Moore Vintage Christmas CD.

I was playing around with the settings on my camera today and discovered that you can tell the camera to photograph using "low colour" and "high colour".  I have always had trouble photographing cards with red as the red seems to overwhelm the rest of the photo and editing it in my software program didn't improve the card hardly at all - if you toned down the red, the rest of the card looked washed out.  So this card used the "low colour" setting and the sparkly red ribbon didn't overwhelm the card.  Yay!!   I still need to play around a bit more, but it's an improvement at least.

The main panel is up on 2mm mounts (dimensionals).  The fancy corner on the top RHS is a diecut from my Cuttlebug Vintage Die set.  Not much to explain about the card really - WYSIWYG.  Just a simple card that would be quick and easy to make a few of.

The gorgeous designer paper is from a digital set made by Designer Digitals called "Old Time Christmas No. 3 Kit".

If you have any questions, please feel free to Email me - my addy is on the top LHS of my Blog.

Thanks again for stopping in - see you again soon!

Jocelyn
